Hi, yesterday I used my motorcycle as normal and it runned pretty well...Today in the morning I went to my motorcycle and tried to start it but it refused and showed me the ''MTC Failure'' advise.....I bought a new batery but it still shows the advise...
HELP :/

Is the bike starting ok after replacing battery? Have you tried riding it? Abs/TC faults will sometimes only clear after self test over certain speed(+/–20kph). If not, try disconnect earth for a few minutes, reconnect and test ride. Also check abs wheel speed sensors/rings/wiring. Failing that...will need a scan.

Hi all,

I had the same issue around 6 months ago.

Bike was throwing MTC error and as everyone else did, I changed the battery as mine was getting worn. Bike started, rode around 200m and it died as I downshifted, wouldn’t start and had to push her back.
Tried again later and it wouldn’t start and still kept throwing MTC error. Took it to my dealer, explained the issues and what I had done to date. They took her in, ran diagnostics and came back with a dead crank position sensor.

Roughly $500 dollars later and one week waiting for parts and she’s a good as new. No issues, runs a treat and no errors yet.

My girl is 2018 with full AR RS22 system with a custom tune on a PCV. Screams like a banshee :devilish:

So yours died while downshifting correct? I have the same issue right now and have been leaning towards replacing the crank position sensor but everyone else that has this issue found it while trying to start it for the first time for the day. I was shifting up and it died but won’t start. Currently sitting at the dealer awaiting codes being read.
