I purchased the Wings with the Coober ECU and the modified airbox lid. Installing it this weekend.

How was the Wings mate?
I was disappointed with it. Carbon a bit untidy and the clamp was cheap. Carbon rubbed on canHow was the Wings mate?

I’m not 100% on the look of the Akra so doubt I’d spend all that cash on one.
Love the look of the twin arrows but they lose the cat so too loud.
I've seen 2 now, the 2nd the carbon was trimmed neater, but as you've established i'm VERY fussy and neither owners are unhappy. The can itself is nicely built. But then the lower heatshield is clamped with a cheapo jubilee clip, i was sort of "meh" at that bit too. It's interesting some of the negative comments on the Wings. Mine arrived in perfect condition and the fit and finish was excellent. I run it without the DB killer and I still am running the cat. The sound brings a smile to my face every time I start it. I'm sure with any mass produced product there may be some inconsistencies but I didn't see any of that and the packaging was excellent. As for the heat shield mount, hmmm, it has 2 bolts to the muffler and a clamp to the mid pipe attached with the same matching bolt. Very clean in my opinion. Exhausts are like girlfriends I suppose, you gotta go with whatever makes you happy.

By the way Rocky, did you get the exhaust hanger with the Wings free, the email they sent me says its an extra 48 euros.
I ordered everything from Coober directly. I believe there was an extra cost for the bracket, but it was a nice piece.

The only thing that stopped me going for one was the price. I've ordered an Arrow pro-race titanium - similar to the Wings - smaller than the Akra. £400 compared to £600+
