I had another great track day last Thursday. The weather was spot on(+16) got to try out the tires more this time, the grip was spot on! Unfortunately the track was quite dirty and I even managed to hit a ginormous rock with my knee (thankfully the slider part)
. Had a great time riding with another dude who had a Hayabusaaaaa. Will post a video later, need time to edit to make it more fun for you. Finally got some pics of my self.Enjoy!

Yeah, my “home track” is definitely far from safe. It was built as a car-race track in the 60ies. So yeah the safety futures are far from good. We do have 4 other tracks which are modern and more appropriate for moto-riding. Unfortunately they are quite far away and I do not possess a van to load up my bike and get there (definitely plan for the future). We are also getting the Kymiring (future motogp track) done this year-> only 1h from home. Track riding in Finland is very expensive aswell, plus fuel and tires, this is why I save my soft tires and only go to the closes track until I get the van. I will probably go to another track this year (July) where they have laid new pavement last year. Will definitely have vids from there.

Had a great 4th trackday couple of days ago with a larger organization 🙂. Upgraded to the faster group (nice without all the traffic) and also managed a new personal best time. The tires where doing very well even though I had to adjust the pressure continuously (changing weather conditions). It is amazing how good the stock suspension Is, even though I’m definitely starting to hit its limitations. It is also great to see how well d790 proves itself with the likes of penigale 959/ Kawasaki Zx10r/ Yamaha r1 ect.. in their track setup, especially in the tighter circuits. Very proud of our Duke! Unfortunately I had technical difficulties with the filming equipment ( forgot main camera homeXD), I’ll post a short clip from the day later, from my other camera. The video from the 3rd day is in the works!

Agreed, unfortunately they divided the groups poorly, it messed up the day a little. Some of the guys belonged in the slower group but they decided differentlyLooks like you were having a blast!
Way to go with the varying camera angles, very pro.
You were ripping by some of those guys a lil close, prolly scared the bejesus out of them, hahaha. But at the same time, if they're going slow, they should step off the racing line.
