Has anyone out there bothered with applying a TFT screen protective cover?
It seems to me like a good idea as on a phone.
What brand?
How was the application, just like your phone?
Critics or criticisms?
Thanks

I did <-- as per my post I used one of the matt anti-glare ones (Speedo Angels), would recommend.

The TFT screen is quite soft plastic and easy to scratch and some folks on here have got spots on theirs from splashes of brake fluid.

Thanks for the input. I'll look into one.

OK - As a protection thing this makes a HUGE amount of sense.

But be aware of where you live! - I know this sounds weird, but I fitted a matte glass protector and had to remove it. Central Spain gets A LOT of high and fierce sun.

I found that it basically caused all sorts of internal reflections on the screen and I got a white oblong too often. ime - Fitting a bug screen and blacking it out does a far better job.
One day I may get a simple protector and give it a try.

I bought the speedo angels matt, clear, and glass screen protectors.

Use the matt ones, the others increase the glare compared to the original screen.

I was surprised to see so many negative reviews of the Speedo Angels screen cover.
I found the instructions simple to read and follow.
My screen cover went on with ease and looks good.
Shipping was speedy considering the times and the ocean between us.
I would recommend one just for the piece of mind.
