My mini-gripe right now is my second hand bike came without the grab rail. I mean the seat-pack tie down rail.
I was looking at parts schematics, and I think the grab rail is only about $40. Its really nice to have when putting the stand under the rear.

Any options out there for super slim and small rear seat bags - I usually only pack my phone, wallet, a small visor microfiber cloth and tiny spritzer bottle of shield cleaner - no large items are need for larger stuff.

Something 6" X 8" or close to those dimensions and maybe 1-2" tall max that straps onto the rear seat.
Mate - for that I think I'd just get a small tank bag.

It's maybe not to your taste but I have one of these for the tank https://www.giviusa.com/givi-products/soft-luggage/easybag-range/6-liter-tankbag-easybag-detail - Comes with tie down straps too and looks OK on the seat. I can take some piccies on the morrow - OK?!

I just want a little more space - Emergency waterproofs basically.

Yeah I know they're cheap. And the bike did come with the longer bolts.

An advantage I'd not thought of - I have a front wheel chock so just push it in there and put the rear under the arm.

I'm fussy about tank bags and have a general disdain for em.

I'll likely pass in my man card and opt for a waist bag - Givi has a decent looking one for cheapish - $30ish.

Yes, I use a small waist bag (fanny pack) when I want to carry a few small items. Nothing to attach to the bike, and it stays with you when you get off to go in a store or something. The heck with the man card.

Not fond of them myself. I bought the Givi for long runs across Spain where we have a few toll roads (turnpikes) It was somewhere easy and accessible to have a debit card to pay the tolls that I can get to with gloves on. The card is also in a tethered case so I cant drop it.

Discovered taking photos (patience) that having a seat bag makes getting on and off a real PITA for me as age has restricted flexibility. BUT scanning GIVI I discovered this. https://www.givi.es/productos-givi-es/bolsas/bolsas-mochillas-y-otros/xs315 - Aimed at BMW GS - but could well fit to the KTM passenger rail without much hassle.

And then there is this https://moskomoto.com/collections/rackless-systems/products/reckless-10l-system

Some picces as promised. The Givi on the Tank and also rear seat in both directions.

Also rummaging I found an old Cycle Bag (it came with my first mountain bake in 1989!) - would need adapting and really best suited by using a "seat-rack" and a bolting down. Right size for waterproofs etc. Thinking.
