I'm taking a ride down to Solid Performance in Pennsylvania on Friday 9/13 to get my first service done on my Duke. I'll be leaving from Long Island, NY around 4am to skip traffic, getting the service done at 10 and probably out of there by noon. On the way back i'm gonna swing by Phildelphia to grab a cheesesteak and check out the Revzilla showroom (probably spend some more money too ).

If anyone wishes to join me feel free, if you don't want to leave as early i'm happy to meet in Philadelphia, DM me to swap phone #s as i'll have my Sena with me.

*btw i didnt see a ride planning section, feel free to move this if I missed it!

Nice bro!! Be safe! 95 can be no joke. I want to stop in at Revzilla real bad since I order a lot from them. I’m about 1.5 hrs from Philly and would totally meet you but I have to work on Friday! I want a full report on the shop when you get back, and say hi to Eric! He does a lot of their video reviews!

Hey bud, have a great time!

Not really a dedicated Group Ride sub-forum as of yet, being everyone is so spread out, and 790D's are not yet a household item everywhere. hehe.

Same here I have always wanted to check it out because I order EVERYTHING from them. I'll take a bunch of pics and report back!

So Solid Performance has an awesome shop and really nice and knowledgeable folks. It’s everything you would want in a dealership and I won’t be going anywhere else for work on my bike. Interesting setup too because most of the shop is setup for service work and parts, with a small section of new bikes on display. It’s the exact opposite of how most dealers set things up and I really liked how it looked. It gave immediate confidence that your bike was in good hands as the work areas were immaculate. Revzilla was nice too 😁

All in all I did 438 miles on the bike, I love this thing.

So I take it the ride down was good? Looks a lot like my shop I bought from. Same kind of dealer.

Yeah it was great, the roads in PA were excellent but the duke handled the turnpike with ease too. For once I wasn’t miserable riding through traffic and on the highway. This bike can do the distance.

You turnpiked it down? Good going! Hopefully not to much traffic. Yea I feel very comfy on long distances int he twisties and on the highway. The traffic is a bit tough on the butt, but dealable. We definately need to try to coordinate a meet sometime.

The crummy traffic didn’t hit me till NY, otherwise I had clear road most of the time. And I agree a ride would be good sometime or a track day?

I was so close to having solid put the WP Pro suspension on my bike but that has to wait a little bit....
