Hi I'm Dave live in Pompey. Had my 1190 adventure r for 4 years now. I would keep it forever But!!! . I have lived with the height problem for long enough.
I am 5ft 11inch. I am contomplaiting a new 790 duke r. My local ktm is a hike. Am I going to be able to have both feet flat on the floor in comfort.

yes easily
I am the same height as you but your inside leg measurement is more important I am 29"
I also installed the +20mm seat and can still get both feet down but not flat

On top of that, the tank and the stockseat are so narrow that you will be able to keep your leg straight, all the way to the ground.
