Hi all I'm new to the forum So hi to you all.
Having turned 50 to old for my sports bike (in my head I'm still 20 but my body says no chance) looking at 765 triumph but just think the Duke will suit my riding style having ridden off road, and supermoto for years. The best one I had when I had borrowed a Husabeg 650 while at the TT and boy was it fun. I prefered this over my gsx 750 so I've sold my bike and looking at the Duke.
Ok a long intro but a question 're brakes. Has anyone upgraded their brakes. I was looking at a brembo master cylinder. Any thoughts on this will help.
Thank all.

Hi and welcome.

Yeah, he'll be along soon, he's fitted a Brembo 16 I think. Not felt any reason to do so yet, either on roads or on tracks, brakes are perfectly fine for me

Make sure you let the brakes bed in before making any decisions, I was ready to swap them out but they’re much better after you run them in a bit.

Just take it easy at the start and be careful you don’t glaze them.
Hi, I just changed the front brake pads to EBC EPFA244HH and it made a noticeable difference with good instant grab.
When I had the first service the guy who serviced it commented on how good the brakes were.

yes I have changed my master cylinder
the standard Brembo does not fit well so suggest you consider the Brembo master cylinder from the 1290 SD

I prefer the feel and feedback over the J JUAN standard fitment

I have written a detailed fitting instruction PM me if interested
