I have owned my 790 for a few months now managed to get the first orange one that Wayne Mounter had delivered. Live on the west coast of Wales so I have some nice roads on my door step, bought some powerparts from triple d still waiting for the screen though. I will confess it is my Sunday toy

Have you started to think about what modifications and accessories you want to get for the short-term and long-term? Also, what other bikes have you owned in the past?

Hi KTMfan parts fitted to my 790 to date are powerparts front spoiler (belly pan ) pillion seat cover, silencer bracket so rear pegs have gone, tank protection but modified to put the grippers to where I need them I will add photo later looks a lot better and doesn't cover up the tank to much, awaiting windscreen and Evotech crash protectors. Exhaust can can't make my mind up yet, if I change it without changing the cat for a link pipe the sound won't be changed much so will be for looks only. If I get the wheels powder coated orange then I will change the tyres.
Bikes I have owned started in the 80s with a Yamaha DT 125 then a brake due to work Suzuki GSF750F, Suzuki TL1000R which I had to sell to buy central heating for a new house when my son was born, cleared mortgage time to play again Honda VTR1000 firestome didn't last long due to a back op left foot goes numb then bought a Aprilia Shiver SL750 nice bike but now outdated so now the 790 with all the toys.

Hi Roger,
Your bike looking good and going very I suspect.
I am getting my 790 this week all going well.
I live in rural Carmarthenshire so I will keep an eye out for any other 790’s in mid and west Wales.
I had my soon to be going SMT from Mounters and my Superduke before that, but I was living in Cardiff then.
Surprised you did not get your bike from M&P’s in Swansea.

Hi Bugz I used Wayne as I have had 3 of my bikes from him and have not had any problems plus lends me a 1290 when my bike went in for service better the devil you know. If you are on facebook have a look at Ceredigion bikers they have gatherings 4 Wednesdays a month at different pubs around Ceredigion they may be within range for you in the summer. I dont think there are any more this year now though.

Yes I have been to a few pub bike nights, Llanilar was the last I went to.
I think a local goes to quite a few a Ceridigion biker pub bike night meets, Eirion George, part of athe ‘Apple crumble & Chips’ riders, a spin off I think of Ceridigion bikers.
They did an Evel Kneivel charity ride out around the UK this year.
