Got my black 790 Duke from CalMoto in Livermore.
My son got his new 690 SMC-R from CalMoto, and we ride these two for fun.

Tires brakes suspension are next

After riding my son's 690 SMC-R a few times it is clear the 790 needs some changes.

I see S22s coming soon.

Does the 1290 SDR Brake master cylinder bolt on with no changes?

Welcome to the Group...!

I was thinking to change out the brake pads first, (EBC HH), and see if that did it for me. Many motos I've added a Brembo Radial master cylinder, (18X19 etc).

Cheapest option like J D says is the sintered pads

If that’s not enough then look at replacing the blocks

Welcome! Bought my orange 790 from them. Ken was great!

I'm a bit farther south and will probably be going to the KTM dealer in Gilroy for service.

My 890 R arrived today at Gilroy Motorcycle Center, I get it after April 23. My nephew is buying my 790 [Ohlins/Brembos].
