With many riders on new equipment, the Valencia test was more about the guys sampling their new machines than actually testing new tech.

Both MM93 and FQ20 are left unimpressed with the upgrades to the Honda and the Yamaha. It's going to be a long winter in Japan, as both factories will have to come up with more significant changes prior the Sepang test in February.

Here is the schedule for the 2023 Pre season testing. Not a lot of time and much to do:

Valencia Test: 8th November
Sepang Shakedown Test: 5th – 7th February
Sepang Test: 10th – 12th February
Portimão Test: 11th – 12th March

Gotta feel for FQ20, and i suppose the rest of the team. Must seem like polishing a turd, and it's not getting any fresher.

The Honda looked like it could run with the Ducatis by mid-season so I don't think it's as far behind as MM93 is making out.

Meanwhile, the Aprilias are off to a flying start:
