Hi, folks. The 790 Duke has my interest. As a 2016 Ducati Monster owner/lover, the 790 Duke, to me anyway, is a natural competitor. The upside to the Monster? Handling, Power, Sound. Downsides? Not all day comfortable. While I don't expect it to be as it's a roadster, I would like a bike that is more all day friendly and the 790 Duke, having just sat on one today, could very well be it. The power numbers are near identical and the 790 Duke is quite a bit lighter at 415lbs wet.

Looking forward to riding one in the spring... Ride safe everyone...

The ducati is a good bike.
the 790 is a great bike but for longer ride outs you might need to consider the +20mm seat
