I've narrowed down my exhaust selection and am primarily looking at the Austin Racing slip-on setup. I won't be decatting or running an ECU upgrade on my incoming 890. After watching several YouTube vids, the AR slip-on (while louder) seems to have the sound I'm going after. I also feel that the Akro and Yoshi pipes are a little big for the bike and don't have the deeper sound that I'm wanting, but that's just my personal opinion and preference. There's quite the option list with AR just when selecting the slip-on - that in itself will take some research...

Does anyone have any feedback or opinions on the AR slip-on? Regrets, issues, etc?

AR pipes are typically way too loud for my preferences, on the 1290 they are unbearably loud. I'll google some sound clips though, maybe the 790/890 version is quieter.

As others mentioned. AR ‘zorst are just deafeningly loud. Really not worth the hassle from neighbors & the Law.
