So the luggage is all sorted

I already have the same identical tail bag (not badged KTM) Bags Connection rear tail bag, which was my only luggage on my SMT in last years bike tour in Spain. A great tail bag that can expand and all that I needed, recommended.

Weeksy, Which bag is that? I thought all the KTM bags needed to attach to the top mount? That attaches to the pillion seat?

.....and after all the time I spent looking at bags!

Does the tail pack need the grab rail for it to attach properly Steve?

Phew, so many questions... Don't honestly know. I've not actually used it yet. I'll have a look later, but i think yes it would need to secure there, or at least to somewhere else as its only secured at the front then if not. It's another minor question for me though as looking at my own pics it will need to secure onto the pillion pegs, which are not present on my bike. But they're not exactly a 2 hour job, only a 5 minute job.
I only bought the bag for a specific trip, which isn't until the end of June, so after fitting it for testing, i then put it in the box again.

To be fair it was a used bike at a good price and I don’t ride two up so the parts not being there didn’t bother me too much
