****, I hope the r&g kits don't have this happen, having mine fitted next week
Man that's a huge bummer. I guessing you didn't notice until it was too late. Have you started shopping around for a new tail tidy?
Yep I knew nothing until I had a indercator warning light come on the dash! I fixed the problem by making the mounting points in closer to the stop light

Havent had any problems with the R&G Tail Tidy if you are looking for a new one.

Isn't your melted indicator pointing the wrong way?

H*ck. It happened to me too. I installed the Evotech fender eliminator and I believe it was okay throughout the run in period. But once I started giving it the beans, I quickly noticed this. The black exhaust facing bit is melted a bit and the screw housing on the clear bit bent so that it no longer works.

I'll be going back to the factory fender this weekend. Bummer.

That's what I installed on a bud's Husky 701, and putting a pair of metal framed mini's on my 790.

Ultimately, I'd just prefer to have the blinkers integrated into the rear tail light, (as I've done to all my motos), just one less thing sticking out.

Just get a SC project S1? No melting at that range (hopefully)

That's the 'Zorst that's screaming at me, assuming I keep the Cat.

Was thinking exactly the same and order me couple of those:smile:
I bought the KTM Powersports indicators which are just Rizoma Leggera with KTM written on them. They come in Rizoma boxes with both the KTM and Rizoma part numbers. Anyway, they are super small. They're so short they're completely out of the way of the exhaust gas. They're also metal but they don't even get warm. KTM USA will not sell them to you but you can get them from Europe. But you can also just get them directly from Rizoma.

I'm currently trying to track down the correct resistors for them but they look fantastic and no more melting.

Revzilla seems to have all of this in stock. Unfortunately, the turn signals are sold individually, so 4x$77 is spendy. For the bike, it's like $370~

So where did you get them then?

I am looking at the Lightech 4s. Different, interesting, and I like the look. But if I could get a full set for front and back for a decent price with all the trimmings (including the resistors and the plug and play) I would be willing to go that route, providing price is decent.
