H*ck. It happened to me too. I installed the Evotech fender eliminator and I believe it was okay throughout the run in period. But once I started giving it the beans, I quickly noticed this. The black exhaust facing bit is melted a bit and the screw housing on the clear bit bent so that it no longer works.

I'll be going back to the factory fender this weekend. Bummer.

That's what I installed on a bud's Husky 701, and putting a pair of metal framed mini's on my 790.

Ultimately, I'd just prefer to have the blinkers integrated into the rear tail light, (as I've done to all my motos), just one less thing sticking out.

They're so short they're completely out of the way of the exhaust gas. They're also metal but they don't even get warm. KTM USA will not sell them to you but you can get them from Europe. But you can also just get them directly from Rizoma.

I'm currently trying to track down the correct resistors for them but they look fantastic and no more melting.
