Looking to get my new Duke in March/April and was curious what the 790 is actually selling for. I live in California and I know locations may vary the price some. Still, are dealerships dealing on these, adding markup, or selling at sticker? Any help would be appreciated...

I agree with weeksy
in the UK at launch no one was dealing it was list all the way
i did manage to get a free service and a good discount on the power parts however,
Now deals are available and the second hand market has bikes available.
Your launch was a long way behind ours, but I am sure ex demo will be available spring next year

So did you pay below MSRP? Not sure but some adds I saw MSRP is around $10,500. Is that correct?
Thanks

how many 790 buyers have not been tempted to buy options????
My dealer is throwing in a $100 Power Parts gift card, which will be going part of the way towards the pillion seat cowl! Love the look of those things. IXIL M2 slip on on order, and R&G Tail Tidy already here! Bike arrives Saturday. I'm like a 57 year old kid running rampant in Santa's grotto!

I am paying AUD $14,999 for my new 790 this week. This includes all on-road costs (incl 12 months registration). They were more like $17K on the road when they first became available from memory. I am trading in my 2013 Suzuki DL650A V-Strom so that assists price-wise, although I will miss it I think.

As far as accessories are concerned I am only buying the pillion seat cover. It not only looks nice but in Queensland (where I live) the Personal Injury insurance [CTP] is a good deal cheaper if the bike is registered as a 'solo' rather than a two seater. Covering the pillion seat and removing the pillion pegs enables me to register it as a solo.

I have to say I don't mind the look of the standard mirrors and exhaust so I won't be changing either. I do a fair bit of filtering in commuter traffic so bar-end mirrors would only make that more difficult. I also have a 2016 Royal Enfield 535 Continental GT and left the standard mirrors on it for the same reason.

Cheers,

Purchased my 790 Oct 3rd, from thousand oaks power sports, 10,038.64 was my out the door price. It was originally a 2019 but some anti theft deal kept it from starting? so they gave me a 2020 for the same price AND swapped out the orange wheels and put the black ones on, I just couldn't get on board with the orange wheels. Any how what a bike huh?

That’s pretty unheard of for them to swap out the wheels, you got absurely lucky.
