I ditched them at 2200km. They still have plenty of life in them, you just don't say no to just-broken-in tires from the wife's track bike when she upgrades.

Sorry, not helpful.

First oil change 600 miles. Sold them on Craigs List and bought Bridgestone S22s. My buddy who rides pretty hard has about 1,500 miles on the stock tires and the stock tires look shot.

2,500 miles / 4,000 km. Rear got squared. center got down to wear markers. Front was fine.

As we all know, tire wear is very dependent on riding style and habits.

I have 2,500 miles of mostly mountain roads on mine. Not squared off and look like they have a fair amount of life left. I think at about 3,000 miles I will switch to something better. They are not great tires, but they have served me well as I have gotten to know the bike.

3500 km before I got rid of them. Poor grip in cool, wet conditions.
x2
Noticed that when I first rode the bike last year in the UK. I’ve about the same mileage, the rear is near and a pair of Michelin RS’s are waiting..... :p

I'm 140 lbs (probably 150lbs with gear), and I am running 30 front and 31 rear. This pressure doesn't give me the harshness while riding on the streets anymore. Someone tried 27 rear in another post.

My 790 nearly has done 6200 km and it’s still roling on the standard Maxxis’. Although the rear won’t last very long anymore.

Thinking about Bridgestone S22 after some promising reviews from other 790 Duke-dudes.

Changed them at first service ready for track day, not all that helpful I'm sorry! However I've managed 2k from S22's :D

I've changed the stock Maxxis after appr. 4K km's (2500 mi). Not because they were finished, but because they're squared off.

I've tried Bridgestone S22's and was happy about handling. Managed to get 5500 km (3500 mi) out of the rear tire. The front lasted a little longer, so I will replace the rear. For my upcoming holiday to France I decided to go for a fresh set of Metzeler Sportec M7's. Let's see how they will hold! :)

The way I ride, it's going to be a long time before I need to replace the stock tires. Someone here said that the stock tires are perfectly fine for the street so I'm going to hold out for as long as I can.
