Welcome to the forum man! Availability for the 790 is still hit or miss depending on your region, but I know we've got quite a few owners on here already.

Been living with my 790 for just over a month, ride daily and it still puts a huge smile on my face every time. I do miss the striple, mostly the exhaust note, but I'm hoping the akra will solve that, if not I may have to start looking at the austin racing pipes hahah

790 lacks brutal power compared to what I had before but makes up for it with agility, character, looks & smiles. Oh and a lot less running costs etc. with bikes getting ever more ridiculously expensive to buy, maintain, insure & run etc.

Welcome to the community! This would be my first KTM street bike, but I've been very impressed with their MX models.

I know what you mean and for that reason I can't wait to get a Ducati Monster.
Not a fan of how much they cost but if the new 821 lives up to what is said about it, it might be my next long term bike.

Isn’t the monster like ~5bhp more and ~25kg heavier?

After test riding the 2017 model I was exceptionally underwhelmed, different strokes I guess.
