After almost 10 months of having a 790 Duke in and out of my garage, I bought it! Up until now, the bike has been part of KTM North America’s press fleet. They loaned it to me after the new model introduction, and my coworkers and I’ve been riding it and recently modifying it and writing articles about it. With all the test bikes that rotate in and out of my garage, I rarely feel the need to buy a bike. In fact, the last time it happened was 16 years ago with the 2003 Yamaha R6 that I sold to help fund the purchase of the 790. The 790 Duke is a really special motorcycle, and I’m super stoked to finally own one.

Congrats Evans!

Hopefully we're still going to be treated to more long term updates, mod reviews, and comparo's?!?!?!

There will be more updates and reviews as I continue to play with the bike. I’ve already got a couple things in the works.

Any comparison would have to use a different bike because mine is no longer stock. And I’ll also try to test any updates to the 790 when they happen.

Now this is one hell of a testimonial for the 790 from a guy who gets to ride many different bikes.

I certainly can relate. I took a demo ride a week ago and the next day I was an owner.

The little Duke is a bike is an incredible bike that has an uncanny ability to reach out and grab you and not let go.

Congrats and thanks for sharing.
