On my browser (Firefox - Mac) the Recent Discussions and current forum titles and dates are unrelated to the posts I see when I click on a subforum. It's a bit better if I log in, but still far from correct. This wastes time, which makes it annoying to scan the forum for topics of interest.

Not my area of expertise, but I'm sure someone (Admin+) will get back to you.

If you come to the site without being logged in, you won't get a live version of the site on the main index page. We started serving a "cached" version of the site to guests so that instead of trying to send a live feed to every guest/bot on the site we can direct server power to our signed in users. The cache refreshes on a schedule, but it won't be live.
