I went for bar hand mirror as well .... there’s at least 2 options for you 1st put a screw in or 2nd change the handle clamps. You cam get both from ebay or elsewhere you like better . I did the clamps.
Got this idea from the Ducati guys. The ride-by-wire throttle on our bikes are built with a bunch of play from the factory and can make off-on throttle transitions jumpy and a bit awkward. This mod simply takes up the slack between the grip and the control unit on the handlebar.
Thought I chime in with my "how do I power electrical things" solution for the 790 Duke.
I looked at the PP USB power option which connects to the side of the headlight but decided against it - I wanted power front and rear for one thing and didn't particularly like the bracket or the USB's low...
Yeah I know there are commercial options - BUT - imo they are silly expensive. THE H&B seems to be somewhat limited in terms of weatherproofing and the SW-M needs the base plate from the seat. This to me somehow wrankles.
Also - And this is just my personal beef - I'd rather they were...
I finally installed the Woodcraft clip-on kit for the 790 last night. I'll post up the before and after pics first and then some detailed pics of the various steps.
1st picture is the stock bars from the profile view and then from the rear cowl to gauge the height.
