Hopefully I will get some pics of the process. It feels weird to let someone else get their mitts on it first!

Seems wrong to let someone else tear into it but they need it for product design.

What is planned for it? Have you ridden it at all yet to have a baseline?

Suspension upgrades and correct gearing for your track? Brake upgrades? Keep us posted please. It will be interesting to hear what changes get real results. It already has loads of power.
Welcome to the forum. Also curious to hear what exactly you have planned for the bike. So this shop will be using your 790 to develop brand new products?

that's very trusting of you
what are they looking to do,design and or mod?

I have not ridden the bike except across a frozen parking lot! The bike will be getting a full exhaust system, a power commander, suspension and front brake upgrades. Internal engine mods will probably not be needed. I am waiting for a Hindle exhaust to be built as that's the most likely route for support.

Exhaust, maybe airbox, potentially fuel tank and full bodywork, clamps, suspension, Mostly just a shakedown to see how raceable this thing is. There are actually a few shops working on race bits. I don't feel its appropriate to name names,(without consent) but there are some talented people involved.

well we will watch this space
MV bodywork fits nicely. A starting point. It's for development only at this point.

Cool airbox.
well that's changed the looks.

when are you going to ride it?

I'm afraid it will be April. This bodywork is not mine and will not be put on the bike. It is for measurement and potential development.

ohh
ok well still look forward to seeing final result
A quick update. A major bodywork player will be designing a (RACE) quarter fairing, tail, belly pan (catch pan) as well as shorter tank cover wings for these bikes. By the description, It should look pretty nice! As of yet, no one is looking to mass produce a full set of bodywork due to the fuel tank modifications needed. There WILL be "One off" sets being produced. No Idea if any of these will be available to the public. Cheers!
