Hi Folks

I am a geezer, but just bought an 890 Duke R. I will pick it up Monday (have to work Thu-Sun). This will be the 36th motorcycle I have owned, started riding in 1968. I have had quite a few KTMs, most recently a very tricked out SuperDuke 1290R.

I think this will be a fun motorcycle!

Welcome to the pack! Sounds like you've had quite the list! What're some of the standouts besides KTMs?

2018 Aprilia Tuono 1100 Factory was nice, but I didn't trust it (long story, I had two of 'em)
2009 BMW R1200GS was a great bike, but always felt too top heavy to me
I had a couple KLRs, the second one I modded a bunch including a 705cc kit.
1998 Honda XR650L that I turned into a supermoto (laced the wheels and everything). Was slow, but spanked a lot of sportbikes with it.
1992 Ducati 851 which I loved when it was not overheating, which wasn't often.

Many more, but those stand out. The 2016 SDR was the best bike of all of them though.
