Before and After Pics with KTM PowerParts

My PowerParts arrived from overseas and are now fitted to the bike. Thought I'd post some pics for those also interested in buying PowerParts to see.

I'm still waiting on an aftermarket Tail Tidy, Exhaust Hanger Bracket (to remove pillion footpegs) and a Radiator Guard from R&G Racing which according to the tracking details, will be arriving very soon!

Awesome! One question. Is it possible to eliminate the Cat Converter? I realize some people may not want to do that but I just wondered if there is a Mid Pipe to eliminate it. When mine arrives I plan to put a PC V on board and have it Dyno tuned. I will want that removed.

Again your bike looks great.
Thanks
Appreciate the feedback! In regards to the Cat Converter, sorry to say I can't help you there. Hopefully someone else can chime in. I do however recall my local dealer mentioning that a full exhaust system will be released later, but who knows when.
FYI following changes were made so far:

- KTM PowerParts Akrapovic Slip On
- KTM PowerParts Bar End Mirrors
- KTM PowerParts Ergo Seat - Standard
- KTM Pillion Seat Cover
- KTM PowerParts Graphics Kit. (Left the original stock 790 tank graphic on. Might switch it to the graphics kit one later when I get bored.)

I'm also thinking about the PowerBronze Belly Pan, but not sure. I might wait until the Tail Tidy comes in, which will make a big difference once the stock trailer hanging of the back is gone.

Very nice. How do you like the under the bar rear view mirrors?
Duke, does the R&G tail tidy have the wiring harness exposed under the tail?

Bike looks awesome! I was contemplating that graphics kit as well, but I am waiting for a different one to be available in the US I think.

Good question.
Under bar mirrors look cool, but you have to take your eyes off the road and tilt head down. I also need to flick my elbows up slightly, so I wouldn't recommend unless you like the appearance. However, these mirrors can also be mounted over bar. I'm looking forward to receiving my Jarvish helmet though. Will be able to see what's happening behind me via the 1080p rear camera. https://www.jarvish.com/

Yes the wiring harness is exposed. R&G provide a sleeve to run the cable through. I don't have an issue with it, but I think Evotech has a better covered wiring harness https://evotech-performance.com/products/ep-ktm-790-duke-tail-tidy-2018

After 7 weeks and 4500Km of ownership I have the Duke pretty much how I want it. I even had a chance to give it a wash.
Fender extender
Radiator guard
Engine case guards
Wheel rim strips
Paddock stand bobbins
Side stand foot
TFT screen protector
Bar end mirrors
Adjustable levers
Tail tidy
and of course the IXIL M2. My favorite piece of kit.

@duke790. This is a good (and much cheaper) option. Simple You tube fitting instruction too.

I bought the mustard bikes one, wasn't a cheap option as i live in the uk lol. I'm a bit anal about stuff like this, it has to be perfect. For me the Evotech light stuck out too much and the [email protected] plate angle was wrong.
I'm very happy with the mustard one, it's perfect and genuinely plug and play.

I agree totally. I actually cannot stand under the bar rear view mirrors for all the reasons you stated. I really don't understand why anyone would like them at all. I want the ability to see behind me quickly with mostly moving my eyes and not my whole head. Even bar-end mirrors are no good in my opinion. Of course, I understand some riders like the looks but I always choose function over looks with everything I modify on my bikes.

Ok. I thought the Aussie dollar was pretty weak against the pound. With shipping that would make it $170AUD (about 90 quid?)

I am super happy to hear this!! I cancelled my order of the R&G tail tidy and am on the fence between the Evotech and the Mustard bikes tidy. I agree with you Bomble about the look, but not seeing it in person makes it a difficult choice. Even in the US, I can get the Mustard tidy way cheaper than the Evotech, so I am going to pull the trigger on it now! Thanks B!!
