I need to get this out of my garage. Bought it to give it a try but decided to go back to stock exhaust.

To avoid any confusion this is a knock off/clone and not a genuine Akra slip on.

Low mileage, less than 30 miles on it. It has a removable DB killer so it does fairly loud and fairly quiet very nicely.

$20 plus you pay the shipping and you can be an owner.

Yep still have it. The only issue on the install is stretching the springs in place. They are pretty strong. A pair of vice grips is needed.

A spring hook is usually super-effective.

What a great idea. Don't have one in my tool box as I hardly ever work with springs.

A cheap harbor freight version might be a good addition.

I only found out about it when I bought a full exhaust for my then-new RC51, (back in ‘00) and it came wt the kit from Moriwaki.

Tie strap (or wire/tie wrap as some call it) is also pretty effective for pulling springs over. Can use screwdriver handle on far end for grip. Also avoids potential for scratch/injury if spring/hook slips.
