There was a lot on the older thread I started this one to update. I found this YouTube

Which helped a lot watch closely from about minute 4 to 5.30 the rider describes holding the throttle open longer after releasing the clutch, this really helped me. I was used to backing of the throttle sooner with the wheel coming up, but just getting the wheel up requires staying on the throttle. This helps in street, sport and track although sport and track modes bring up the wheel much more abruptly, so street is fine. I’m only clutching up in 2nd gear, no 1st gear wheelies for me. Great video for wheelies.

I can only power wheelie in first.
If I dump the clutch in second it just lurches.
No chance of power wheelies in second either.
You can power wheelie in 2nd, get it up around 40mph, close the throttle completely then snap it open quickly and it should bring the front up. Power wheelies aren’t safe or predictable but that’s how I’ve figured out how to do it in second. At least on my standard 890.
