For anyone interest in how much power the 790 Duke makes, the guys over a cycle world have run it on a dyno to measure hp and to torque numbers. Peak torque is 95.1hp at 9,200rpm and 58.2lb-ft of torque at 7,800 rpm.

That's a bit weird... The 690 i had put out pretty much 20bhp less... but the 790 feels night and day quicker, more so than 20bhp anyway that's for sure.

One of the other lads got 96 as standard too on the dyno, so pretty much in the same ball-park

Very like when I had my 701 mapped, hardly any power increase but about a 10% increase in the midrange which was very noticeable on the road. Made it ride a lot nicer.
Guess it’s just getting rid of the emissions fuelling? Will probably have it done eventually but not high on the list at the mo.

Tricky one then, on my 690 i got similar looking gains on the graphs and it was instantly better. The 790 though isn't underpowered like the 690 was in that way, so the gains were needed. I may have to ride my mates again which has been done by Hilltop to give a better representation.
