Please let me know your thoughts on the disc lock
I have these fitted to all 5 ktm in my family
its the best lock because it fits into the smallest pocket whilst providing much better security than a shackle type lock
just a bit expensive

the only way to defeat this lock is angle grinder and you would have to wreck the disk to get it off

so yes I like them

Tomorrow:
- heated grips
- possibly, wider straighter bar. The stock bar gives me an awkward wrist position especially when hanging off the bike.
- Will get rid of the horrendous bar end weights and possibly fit the thin barend protection from powerparts. This will allow for better hand/wrist movement/angle during hard cornering.
Hi AMatu
perhaps you should rename yourself trackman :)

Here we go->
The wider bar, for me made hellava difference <3
Plus the horrendous angle is gone.
The ergos are starting to be near perfect.
High seat and rear sets left.

hi AMatu
hard to tell in the picture how much wider are these KTM?
hi AMatu
hard to tell in the picture how much wider are these KTM?
Original ones are 760mm this ones are around 790mm the most important thing is that they are much more straight compared to original ones. So approximately 6-8cm less tilt/turn in the bars towards the driver, which makes it better if you are taller or have longer hands. Im 1.90cm tall.
Can give accurate specs of the differences between bars later. The new bar is the Ktm supermoto bar.

good to know, thanks

are they designed to work with the ktm caliper, would they also work with with aftermarkets like the brembo m50s
There are several different versions of Roadlok for different caliper brands (sizes) if we just consider KTM
The smaller unit is designed to fit the indian built KTM 125, 200, 250 and 390 fitted with the ByBre Calipers which is a subsidiary of Brembo.
The full sized ones fit Brembo calipers and the new 790 KTM branded J Juan calipers, these also fit most european bikes with Brembo calipers Ducati, BMW, Aprilia etc.
I just hate riding around with a huge chain and padlock
They are listed on ebay

Quick question anotheronetoday, I heard it mentioned that the grips connect to a connector behind the headlight, but the USB charge port also does, is there space for both or is one or the other?
I made up two adapter leads so i could plug the USB and Heated grips together then plug into the AUX power behind headlight.
Space become the issue i had to cut the cable ties, then relay the cables, then re-cable tie, otherwise could not get the cover back on
