Anyone Mount the KTM Panniers?

I realize most people don't buy a Duke with extended travel in mind...but I never have fit in well with most people! I traveled on both my 690 and 1290 and hope to do some trips to the North Carolina Mountains on my 790 (if I ever get this stupid pinched nerve in my neck fixed!). I have plenty of Kriega bags and Mosko Moto duffels that I could strap onto the back seat or a luggage rack but I'm considering the panniers also. Just curuious if anyone is using them, how they look and how they work. Thanks.

I'm planning on using the 790 for everything to include travel, canyons, and commuting. Racks are a requirement in my book.

I looked at the PP luggage options but went with the SW-Motech stuff instead. The tail rack has a nice exhaust shield that will prevent your soft luggage from catching on fire. I have both the tail rack and the pillion delete rack and the fit and finish are perfect. I'll get the left side rack eventually and hopefully, they will figure out how to engineer around the exhaust side.

I got the Powerparts side cases and the top case.

The top case is always on, and very useful, but the side cases came off the bike, the day I took it from the dealer, and never mounted them back on the bike ever since.

I just got the Puig Bat windshield that I will have to install. The heated grips are also great for touring. All I need is great weather and my girlfriend 😁

Thanks. I also thought about installing the rear seat replacement luggage plate instead of the side bags. That's what I had on my 690. I have a Wolfman Peak tail bag that I keep on the rear seat for day to day, but I'd probably mount a waterproof duffel in its place if I were on a trip. Maybe I'll just go that route for now.

I added the Ermax screen and heated grips as well.

I just installed the side cases and ran into a glitch that I'm hoping someone has solved. When mounting the cases to the carriers, the cases don't want to slide over the mushroom pins. It took a lot of force and fiddling to get the cases fully seated. The mushroom pins seem too thick for the slots in the cases. I may try some silicone lubricant but I'm dubious that will fix it.

Has anyone else had this issue and, if so, were you able to solve it.

I got the Ermax from Moto Machines. Good news, the pinched nerve in my neck has eased up and I'm back on the bike...finally! Probably have to have surgery eventually but for now I'm finally getting to ride the Duke.

Does anyone have pictures of the luggage racks mounted without the bags on them? I'm looking at the racks but I wanted to use them with my wolfmann bags, they look like they will work but a pic would help.

Here are some pics. I included the exhaust side pannier to show how KTM dealt with the exhaust.

That is totally different then I expected it to be mounted, thank you for the pics! Interesting that they route the bag over the exhaust but the rack behind the exhaust. Doesn't look like these would work with the wolfmann bags, I would need something that stuck out a little bit more. Thank you so much.
