Hepco & Becker frame guards

Does anyone have the HB frame guards?

I was thinking of purchasing, but found this review on their site and made me pause...

Bar feels strong and well build and does look good. It also includes protection for both angine cases.
But if you are 190cm (I think it will be problem even for 180cm rider with stock seat) or if you wear size 45 riding boots (like alpinestars smx6) you cannot use this bars. My bike even has 20mm higher seat so knee angle is less agressive.

There is no room to change gears and there is real risk that your foot gets stuck under the shifter. Only way to change gears is to bend your angle out awkwardly.

Same think with rear brake, not enough room to press it with out hitting your boot our shin to the crash bar. Same risk is real to lock the brake by getting your shoe stuck between bar and footrest.

It is also possible to hurt your shins pretty bad if you ride to pothole and fly a bit forward, which causes your shin to hit the bar.

Any other opinions on them appreciated.

Not guard related but I was going to buy their seat rack until I started reading reviews on it. I’m not too sure how good their stuff is but I’m wary of it and went with another brand I can trust.

H&B are VERY highly rated in Europe.
Usually they build to a high standard - make things easy to fit. The seat-rack for the 790 is (AFAICR) the only thing I've ever seen criticised.
I was pretty much set on the H&B until I saw the RDmoto (which has a tank protection puck on). But the RDmoto looks as if it could be a real swine to fit (lower bolt RH side behind waterpump).
I am now rethinking - may even go for the Givi and add "pucks".

Small steps - Day by Day.
