Hi,
Recently fitted the AR system, and removed the cat, and just added a new mapping module and an air box mod on Friday, and it is now a completely different bike...(probably shaved about 6kg off the bike as well, the cat and original exhaust are about 3-4 kg a piece, and the new system is barely a kilo!)
Before I fitted the system, street and rain modes were fine for slower revs/speeds but sport mode was a bit hard to hold at a steady throttle especially if you were trying to go at slower speeds, track mode is obviously as aggressive as you want it to be.....but now the fuelling is perfect, and the torque has improved considerably from what was already decent, from the stock ECU system....even now in 6th gear, the torque from around 50mph picks up really well and strongly to well over double the speed limit...(on a private road obviously...)

hi
what mapping module did you use?
what was the source of the map?

can you supply details of the airbox mod?
Hi, the mapping module is called an ATOM....it manages the fuel and ignition, and comes with a small wiring harness that needs to be fitted under the tank, and connected to a new module which sits under the seat by the battery where the little tool kit normally sits...
The air box mod is opening out the air box lid to allow the engine to breath easier....
I have a couple of photos but they are not very clear on this forum because of file size...so if you’ve got an email address or something I’ll send them to you....

Would be keen to see photos of the set up, if you wouldn't mind to pm me and I will send you email address.
Thanks

just removed the mid box this is not a quick job
so a quick guide
the mid box is held in place by 3 bolts and 2 exhaust clamps
two bots are easy to remove the bottom left is hidden behind side stand bracket, I found you have to loosen side stand bracket the two large bolts to gain access to midbox mount bolt
remove silencer
you will find you still cannot remove midbox as not enough clearance
you need to loosen header pipe to do this unbolt bottom two radiator fixings to gain access to top 2 exhaust bolts
once loosened midbox will drop out
fitting decat pipe is then easy
if you have removed baffle on exhaust you will need ear plugs its that loud

hi
this was a one off special from Akropovic for pikes peak
if you notice it has 3 x exhaust sensors so would have to be used with aftermarket ECU
the standard downpipe is fairly free flowing, just get rid of the cat with a mid pipe and Akropovic minus exhaust baffle and you will get a very free flowing system.

Where did you get the decat pipe from?
Cheers
