Anybody using the WINGS/COOBER setup?

I like the wings "look" and they'll supply it without all the garish stickers on (I've asked ).

I have a really annoying flat spot at about 4500-5000 rpm. That would seem to be bourne out by the 30% TPS torque graphs published elsewhere on this forum.

No HUGE surprise as this is the point at which the EU noise regs are checked on the 790D.

What I'm trying to find out is whether the COOBER is pure TPS based or uses Manifold Actual Pressure (MAP) as well.

ime MAP is a MUCH MUCH better solution for smooth running. More difficult to calibrate though. I use MAP based tuning on the PCV on my Rocket.

I'll write to Coober and ask - My German is rather rusty, but it's worth a shot.

btw it's cheaper to buy WINGS/COOBER from Wings than Coober - not a big difference - but every little helps, eh!. But don't tell anybody, OK.

You can contact Coober directly, (via Facebook), and real time chat with them, (I did once). Between their English, and your German, you should be fine.

That's fine, or just have some BS FB account to access information.
