Qatar 2020 test

Qatar Test confirms 2020 is set to be ultra competitive.

"Just three tenths split the six factories at Sepang and only half a second covered them in Qatar, with under a second splitting pacesetter Maverick Viñales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) and 19th fastest Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda Castrol)."

Rossi was qouted to say: "It's like Moto2 - this is great for the fans".

with 20 races this season, it looks like we are going to have a good one. Stay tuned. First race is March 8th.

I am excited!!!

I ride because my wife says it keeps me young and is better than if I get a girlfriend...

Looking good for closer racing in 2020.
Honda took a 2019 off LCR, took parts off it for MM93's 2020 model.
How's MM93 going to react if he's 5th or 6th at end of lap 1, will he revert to bashing fairings?
It's all speculation at this stage, we'll get a better idea when the lights go out for the first race.
Interested to see how the new Michelin tyres work when the track is coated in dunlop rubber from the Moto2 practice/race.
KTM and Aprillia showing signs of going fast.

I'm excited too

Yeah it's all fun and games until the lights go out. I can't believe first race is so close, this winter sailed by. Bring it on!

Dorna has cancelled the Motogp race in Qatar due to Coronavirus concerns and the travel ban just implemented by Italy - since the Moto2, Talent Cup, and Moto3 racers are already there, they will all race still.

Dang...

My ambition outweighed my talent.

Thailand 2 weeks after Qatar. First MotoGP round could be COTA in April. (?)

Update.....
The prestigious motorsports event MotoGP 2020 scheduled for March 20-22 in Buri Ram province has been postponed indefinitely due to the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus, Deputy Prime Minister and Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said on Monday.
