Oh you lucky Europeans, you...

Base CBR1000RR-R: 20.000 pounds = $25,800 USD

CBR1000RR-R SP: 23.500 pounds = $30.315 USD

These are the prices in the UK, so I'm not sure how that translates over to the United States, but it gives you an idea.

CBR1000RR-R SP will be a 2021 model here in the United States, not to get here until Summer 2020 or Fall 2020, (as was the case with the SP-2).

Price is $28,500 plus TTT.

Not happening for me.

I get the tech has come on leaps and bounds over the years but the prices are getting ridiculous for what is a toy for most of us.

And electric tech is generally CHEAP to make. Bring back kick-starts, carb's and magnetos I say.

Rumor has it there will only be near 40 coming here to the States. Either way, it's out of my budgie.

Most likely buying a '19 CBR1000RR SP left over new in crate, for a very reasonable price.

Not a bad idea. When I was looking for a bike, last year prior to buying the Duke, I had my eye on a ZX-10RR. They had a couple here for around $16K... Might still be available.

I ride because my wife says it keeps me young and is better than if I get a girlfriend...

The Zed X, is really nice, super track focused though. Nicer wheels than the CBR, Marchesini’s? I forget.

I think so.

Following your lead, I looked at some new old stock of the SP's. Can be had at ~15K. Not a bad price for this bike.

Not a 2019. Possible an ‘18, but expect them to load fees, & additional fee if you’re not financing etc..

Definitely '18. the '19s are $1,500 more.

You know how it goes... Cash is king and I am always more than happy to walk away if the price isn't where I want it to be. Money in the bank is better than inventory on the floor.
