Depreciation predictions

Hi everyone. I am thinking about hunting for 790 next year. Dealership price where I live is about 1800EUR higher than EU average, so buying new for me seems really stupid, importing will cost about 1200EUR.
I saw used for as low as 7000 - 7500 for 2018 model. What do you think about price will be like in 2020?
Btw I searched autoscout24 and otomoto.pl.

Market value is generally determined by availability and what people are willing to pay. You’ve worked this out by looking at the second hand market.

Saying that, the initial bulk depreciation has already hit the model you referring to. You may find something a bit cheaper next year, but unless it has high mileage or maybe with some drop damage I doubt it will be a huge difference imo.

Observation is the greatest source of wisdom.

Did you check the option of simply purchasing new outside you country?

Most nearly all motorsports, cars etc are, as you know, are depreciating assets.

That being said, you have to weigh the cost savings of buying used, (it could be mildly used, or track thrashed most of it's life), or buying new, paying more; you being the first owner, knowing, (for sure), that it wasn't thrashed on the track, or slid down the road and repaired. But hey, that's just my observation, you mileage may vary.

I did, but I am too cheap, lol. Maybe with something like 0.01% loan, but I don't think it is possible for non-citizens.
